Method 1
Note: This treatment will slightly darken the stone.
To prepare a protective solution, simply mix equal parts of turpentine and linseed oil (50/50) and shake well. Apply the mixture with a small brush, then wipe off any excess with a cloth. Allow the product to soak in fully.
Method 2
Use water- and oil-repellent sealers
We recommend brands such as Imperplex, Lithofin, and AKEMI, which preserve the stone’s natural colour without darkening it.
Try products like Vlekstop W or Akemi Duro.
Note: Akemi Extreme Protect will darken the stone.
Always test the product first on a small, inconspicuous area.
