Dekton
DEKTON IS A SOPHISTICATED BLEND OF RAW MATERIALS USED IN THE MANUFACTURE OF GLASS, STATE-OF-THE-ART PORCELAIN AND QUARTZ SURFACES
Dekton uses the unique particle sintering technology, a highly technological process that represents an accelerated version of the metamorphic changes undergone by natural stone, exposed for thousands of years to high pressures and temperatures.
Assets
- UV RESISTANCE
Highly resistant to ultraviolet (UV) rays, the Dekton surface will not fade or degrade over time. It is therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. - SCRATCH RESISTANCE
Dekton is the most scratch resistant surface on the market. Although contact with a knife blade will not damage it, we recommend using a cutting board to protect your kitchen utensils. - STAIN RESISTANCE
While other surfaces are stain resistant, Dekton is completely stain resistant. You can easily remove the most stubborn stains such as wine, coffee, marker marks or rust. Dekton’s very low porosity and the absence of resins allow this surface to resist chemicals. Drops or splashes of household chemicals such as bleach, drain cleaners or even degreasing agents will not affect Dekton. - HEAT RESISTANCE
Dekton withstands high temperatures without burning, scorching or cracking. Hot pans or appliances such as slow cookers can be placed directly on the surface without fear. - ABRASION RESISTANCE
Dekton is even more abrasion resistant than granite. This makes it a perfect surface for commercial use or high traffic areas such as flooring. While other surfaces degrade over time, Dekton’s finish remains flawless for the life of the product. It is never necessary to polish or refinish the material. - COLD RESISTANCE
With its low coefficient of thermal expansion, Dekton is resistant to thermal shock, from extreme heat to extreme cold. Naturally resistant to ice and thawing, it is an ideal surface for the coldest environments.
