Due to its proximity to the stone quarries in Soignies, Carrières de Maffle does not process Irish Blue Stone. However, it can supply the tiles from the distributor Brachot.
Kilkenny Limestone differs from Belgian bluestone in its bluish hue after grinding, in the size of the crinoids and in its lighter benches giving a different rendering for the dark honed finish.
