Instead of using traditional paving stones, the project designers chose narrow strips of Belgian Blue Limestone, 5 cm thick, sawn to random lengths and laid in a linear pattern. The widths vary, with 20 cm being the most common, creating a subtle yet structured visual rhythm.
This format offers a contemporary alternative to classic paving, while ensuring strong mechanical performance for driveable surfaces. Frost-resistant, easy to maintain, and visually understated, the blue limestone blends seamlessly into the built environment.
